Clean Slate Mobile Detailing ("Clean Slate," "we," "us") is a mobile car detailing service based in Missoula, Montana. This policy describes how we handle information collected through our website, cleanslatecardetailing.com, including our online booking system.
When you book a detail, we ask for the information we need to show up and do the job:
If you simply browse the site without booking, we don't collect personal information about you. We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Deposits are processed by Square. Your card details are entered directly into Square's secure payment form and go straight to Square — they never touch or get stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation of payment and a payment reference ID. Square's handling of your payment information is governed by Square's own privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We don't send marketing emails or texts unless you've asked us to.
Only the services needed to run the business: Square (payment processing) and our website hosting provider (where booking records are stored). Appointment details are also visible to the owner-operator through a private business calendar. That's the whole list — no data brokers, no advertisers.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The booking page briefly uses your browser's local storage to carry your confirmation details from the payment step to the confirmation screen — that data stays on your device.
Booking records are retained as part of our business records — for scheduling, tax, and accounting purposes. If you'd like your information removed, contact us and we'll delete what we're not legally required to keep.
